How to write Vinted listings that get found, and where AI actually helps

Writing a good Vinted listing takes a few minutes per item. List fifty items a week and that is hours of typing the same shape of text. An AI writer can take most of that away, but only if it is built to write from facts you hold rather than facts it makes up.

What makes a Vinted listing rank

Vinted search is keyword-based. When a buyer searches "Nike hoodie red", the results favour listings that carry those words in the title and description. Most sellers write titles like "Nike hoodie" and miss the colour, size and condition that buyers actually type.

A well-built title has the brand, the item type, the colour, the size and the condition: "Nike Tech Fleece Hoodie Red Size M Excellent Condition" rather than "Nike hoodie".

What a description should contain

• Measurements: pit to pit and length for tops, waist and inside leg for trousers
• Material, from the label
• Condition, with any flaw named plainly. Honesty about defects reduces returns
• How it fits and what it goes with, in a sentence or two

Where AI helps, and where it must not

The facts of an item are not for a model to guess. A size, a material or a measurement invented by an AI is a return waiting to happen. What a model is good at is the prose: turning six fields into two readable sentences, in your voice, every time.

Writing in batches

Select a run of items in Inventory and write for all of them at once. By default the writer allows 20 generations in a rolling 24 hours, which is a full evening's listing for most sellers. Photos are never sent to the model.
