Vintify exists because a spreadsheet stops working at about fifty items, and every tool that replaced it was a desktop CRM shrunk onto a phone. This one was designed at phone width first, around one job.

The one job

Log what you bought, in five seconds, standing in a charity shop with one hand.

Then know whether you are actually making money. Everything in the app is secondary to that. If a screen does not help answer one of those two questions, it is not in the app.

Why the numbers can be trusted

Money is never guessed.

A tracker that is wrong by a few pence is worse than no tracker, because you only find out when you add up your own year. So the figures are built on rules the code enforces, not promises the copy makes:

Whole pence, no floats. Every figure is stored and added up as whole pence. A rounding error in a profit figure is the one bug that destroys trust in a tool whose entire job is telling you what you made, and it is undetectable until you add up your own year.
One definition of profit. sold price − cost − postage in − extra costs − fees − postage out. One function, so no two screens can disagree. Profit per item and net profit after running costs are always labelled apart.
A figure the data cannot support is not printed. A missing cost is a dash, not a zero. Green means banked; a projection is grey or blue. A figure read from Vinted or eBay carries the time it was read.
One currency per account, never converted. 9 currencies, with no exchange rate anywhere in the app. A figure in another currency is refused and named, because a profit that changes after the fact is the one thing a tracker must never produce.
No sample data. A new account starts empty, the way yours does. There is nothing to clear out and nothing invented to compare yourself against.

What we do not claim

No invented numbers, on the site or in the app.

You will not find a member count, an earnings figure, a “sells faster” percentage or a comparison table on this site, because nobody has measured them. Every feature described here is one that ships, and every limit is stated next to the feature it limits. The changelog is the app's own, mirrored, so what we say we shipped is what we shipped.
