Vinted shipping explained: Evri, InPost, Yodel and Royal Mail

Shipping is where many Vinted sales go wrong. The buyer picks a courier, you print the label, and then the parcel disappears into a black hole. Knowing how each courier behaves on Vinted helps you set expectations and avoid bad reviews.

Evri

Evri is the default on most Vinted listings. It is cheap for the buyer and has the most drop-off points, with ParcelShops and lockers across the UK. Delivery usually takes two to three days.

The downside is tracking, which can lag reality: parcels sometimes show as in transit for days after they have arrived.

InPost

InPost lockers have become the most popular option on Vinted. They are automated and open around the clock: you drop the parcel in a locker and the buyer collects from one near them, typically within a day or two. Fewer hands on the parcel means fewer problems. The limit is locker coverage in rural areas.

Yodel

Yodel is the budget option. Delivery takes longer and tracking updates more slowly. Use it for low-value items where the buyer is price-sensitive; for anything over about £30, steer buyers towards InPost or Royal Mail.

Royal Mail

Royal Mail is the premium option, with Tracked 48 and Tracked 24. It costs the buyer more and has the most thorough tracking, which makes it the right choice for expensive, fragile or time-sensitive sales.

Keeping dispatches and labels straight

Past twenty sales a week, the question is no longer which courier but which parcel. Vintify's Shipping screen lists what you owe buyers, oldest first, and one tap marks a parcel sent; Vinted then moves it to On the way and Delivered on its own, and eBay's dispatch deadlines show with a count of anything already past ship-by.

Your Vinted labels come to you. Once you have made the label on Vinted, Vintify copies it in on the next sync, the QR code or the printable label, and files it under the item it belongs to. It opens from the To send list and the item's page, ready to scan at the counter, and it stays readable after Vinted's own link expires, so there is no hunting through emails at the shop.

Printing works for every label, Vinted's or a courier's you add yourself: Vintify crops it to the printed area for a thermal printer, prints a batch at once, matches a PDF holding several labels to the parcels they belong to, and lists the parcels that still have no label. eBay labels are not fetched; add those from eBay's email or download.
